「古書のメッカ」として知られる東京の神保町にて、1939年に設立された。主に、アート作品や写真集の買取／販売を行なっており、ヴィンテージ写真集からオリジナル・プリント、現代アート、美術書、ポスター、東京サブカルチャー、ストリート・アートなど、幅広いジャンルを取り揃えている。また、中3階フロアにはギャラリー・スペースが設けられ、企画展など開催。アートフェア東京やPARIS PHOTO、NY ART BOOK FAIR、OFFPRINT LONDONなど、国内外のアート／ブック・フェアにも多数参加している。

KOMIYAMA TOKYO was founded in 1939 in Jinbocho, Tokyo’s mecca for used books. The shop buys and sells mainly art books and photo collections, stocking a wide variety of genres spanning original prints from vintage photo books, modern art, fine art books, posters, Tokyo subculture, and street art. In between third and forth floor also holds a gallery space that regularly hosts various projects and permanent exhibits. Komiyama Shoten also participates in many art and book fairs in Japan and abroad like Art Fair Tokyo, Paris Photo, the NY Art Book Fair, and Offprint London and more.
