1940年代から絵画のように豊かな表現力でニューヨークを撮影したカラー写真の先駆者であり、「ハーパーズ・バザー」や「ヴォーグ」など有名ファッション誌の表紙もかざった伝説の写真家ソール・ライターの晩年に密着したドキュメンタリー。脚光を浴びることが苦手で、イーストビレッジでの静かな暮らしを愛した写真家に、30代の若き英国人ディレクターがたずねた「急がない人生で見つけた13のこと」とは？監督はトーマス・リーチ。
