ダン・アビー（写真研究者／UCLA大学院生）

現在カリフォルニア大学ロサンゼルス校（UCLA）美術史博士課程に在籍。2009年から2014年の間、東京にて写真を専門とした執筆、翻訳、展示企画、出版物の発行等を行う。
2016年に同大学（UCLA）の美術史修士号を取得し、その際の修士論文では写真家 大辻清司の作品について執筆した。需要理論、人気雑誌、そしてアマチュア写真家のアーカイブに関心を寄せている。

Dan Abbe (Graduate Student / UCLA)

Dan Abbe is a PhD candidate in the Department of Art History at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Between 2009 and 2014, he lived in Tokyo, where he worked in photography as a writer, translator, curator and publisher. In 2016, he received an MA in Art History from UCLA, writing a master’s thesis on the work of Ōtsuji Kiyoji. He is interested in interested in theories of reception, popular magazines, and the archives of amateur photographers.
